Kris Hartrum – Writer
kris@bastardsoftheinfinite.com
Kris Hartrum has been called a self-loathing and equally egotistical son of a gun who thinks himself a bright and well balanced member of a non existent american/japanese underground. In truth his passion for the medium of comics is nothing more than a misplaced affection for girls with dark, curly hair. His love affairs with his friends, cinema, martial arts and travel have been some of his most sophisticated influences. One day Kris should expand and then contract in on himself reaching an incredibly dense singularity of right on.

I met colt in september of 2004. i was 18, he was 20. the first time I saw colt, he was wearing a grey tanktop, grey pants, black shoes, and black framed glasses. He was “sweeping” a corner of the shop, mostly dancing with the broom. Since then, I have been fascinated with and adored him. it was partially his love of movement (jumping up and perching ontop of refrigerators in one step, small cha-cha steps down sidewalks, etc. I used to think colt only acted like this when people were watching, but came to know that he was like that all the time), but mostly his visual art genius was what attracted me to him. he admires the art of egon schiele, william blake, and fellow comic artist paul pope. colt draws very quickly and without hesitating. he has his own methods of fleshing out faces and figures, and a distinctive style. his drawing is marked by sensuous line, and shading and texturing to the extent of horror vacui. some of the subject matter for his private drawings come from his schizophrenic hallucinations. at one point, his daily hallucinations included mermaids, batdogs, angels, birds of prey, skeletons, and Death. he has always been able to draw his own profile perfectly, because one of his hallucinations is himself. the one thing that makes colt happy no matter what, is comic books. so please, buy his comic book that he may be happy and have money to eat and buy more comic books.

Born a southerner, a Scorpio, with a stolen rib – so rather superstitious. Thankfully left-handed. Sometimes known to harvest churches made up of pastures, silver, larkspur, feather, boys. Currently spending some time in Brooklyn to chase after Henry Miller, paint her grandfather, give it one good and damned honest shot. In possession of a sleepy pigeon heart, good luck, a suspicious right eye, four pairs of cowboy boots, one curse, and these here Johnnys – the brothers, lovers, sweethearts she never had. She works and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Eric Curran – Artist
eric@bastardsoftheinfinite.com
Born of the mind, Eric’s concepts are somewhere between the fantastically real and the realm of the actually fantastical. He started his adventures with Matador Sequential on the short but sweet ‘Amoral Tales’. His own projects include ‘Rogue Science’, a sci-fi comedy series he created with his brother, Peter Curran, and ‘Neo-Genesis’ (a work in progress) with his other brother, Daniel Curran. Eric has worked as a caricature artist at Hershey Park several years back and as a freelance illustrator/graphic designer, in the mean time, on several small time credits.
Eric’s talents also span to the dimension of sound where he has dawned the aliases ‘Oni One Shinobi’ and ‘E. C. Omega’. As Oni One Shinobi, he ventured into electronic music producing several albums, but feels he redefined himself with the album ‘The Master Digi’. As E. C. Omega, he works solely as a hiphop mc/producer. Those works include ‘Spiritual Dreaming’ and ‘The Beatin’ Path’.
Eric’s future goals, besides producing more comics and music, are to eventually get into animation. Whether it’s to transfer his comics to the animated world or to just understand the medium, he hopes to bring his pictures to life and maybe mix them together with his sounds.
